Top experience. Lucas took me to La Paz Waterfall Gardens to see the waterfalls and up close to sloths, toucans, and felines, explaining everything perfectly and never boring me. At first, we had perfect weather, then at the end, we encountered a nice storm, but he drives like a god and always made me feel safe.
For lunch, he took me to a charming little restaurant in the area, avoiding the usual tourist traps. He is a very kind, easy-going, and highly knowledgeable guy. You can’t go wrong!

We met Lucas during our Starbucks Coffee Farm tour, and from the moment we started talking to him, we knew he was special. Although he wasn’t our original travel agent, he had availability and offered to take us on a zip lining and ATV adventure and we’re so glad we said yes!
Lucas was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He speaks excellent English and Spanish, is incredibly funny, professional, and made us feel completely safe the entire time. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. You can truly tell he loves what he does and cares about people having the best experience possible.
If you’re visiting Costa Rica, we highly recommend booking through Lucas and his travel agency. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Lucas at Nativo Travels is awesome! I got a private transfer with my cat—he was very accommodating given that my plane was late and customs took forever. He communicated with me and helped me book this transfer early for peace of mind. As someone who has lived all over Costa Rica, he knows all of the good spots! He is a good choice for your next hike, day tour, or transport. Plus he is a great conversationalist (the hour car ride flew by)!

I lived a great experience with Nativo travel, the guide and owner of the agency, Lucas, is a great professional and passionate about Costa Rica, its offer of places is varied and very flexible for those who have little time. In just 3 days I got to know the most important places near San José like the waterfalls of La Paz, the city center (market, national theater, government buildings, among others), good places to taste typical food (tamales, sweets, fruits, Afro Caribbean), the Poás volcano and a coffee hacienda. You're always going to take added value from this agency. Offer personalized services with transportation wherever you want to go. 100% recommended.
